Built for Cold Chain, Sanitation, and Fire Code

Food and beverage facilities carry pressures a standard distribution center does not.

  • Temperature-rated racking for frozen, refrigerated, and ambient zones
  • Washdown-safe coatings and drainage for USDA and FDA facilities
  • High-pile storage engineering and fire code compliance built in from day one
  • Pallet flow and gravity flow racking for FIFO and FEFO lot rotation
  • Pick modules and case-pick automation sized for seasonal demand spikes

Why Food & Beverage Manufacturers Choose Precision Integrators

Built for your product, not a catalog.
We design around your SKU profile, temperature zones, and throughput before we spec any equipment.
Vendor-agnostic.
We recommend the technology that fits your operation, not the brand we have a reseller agreement with.
Still here after go-live.
Most integrators disappear after the invoice clears. We provide ongoing inspections, repairs, and support instead.
How We Work
1. Design
We analyze your SKU profile, throughput, and facility constraints before designing anything.
2. Permitting.
We manage fire marshal and health department review so your project does not stall.
3. Installation.
Load-calculated, seismically rated systems installed on a realistic timeline.
4. Ongoing Support.
Inspections, repairs, and optimization long after the project closes.

common questions
Frequently asked questions about
Food & Beverage Manufacturers
Does high-pile storage regulation apply to food and beverage warehouses?
Chevron down icon
In most cases, yes. Palletized product in combustible packaging stored above roughly 12 feet typically triggers high-piled combustible storage requirements, which can mean additional sprinklers and a dedicated permit. We check this during design so it does not surface as a surprise at permitting.
How is racking designed differently for cold storage versus dry storage?
Chevron down icon
Cold storage racking needs coatings and hardware rated for condensation and repeated temperature cycling, plus clearances for frost buildup and reduced-visibility forklift operation. Dry storage racking does not need to account for any of that.
Can Precision Integrators handle permitting across multiple states or jurisdictions?
Chevron down icon
Yes. We manage the permitting process and navigate jurisdictional requirements on your behalf, whether you are building out one facility or several across different states.
How long does a food or beverage warehouse project take?
Chevron down icon
A straightforward storage redesign runs four to six weeks of planning. A full facility project with automation and permitting typically takes three to six months, often toward the longer end due to fire marshal and health department review.
Can an existing food production facility be retrofitted without shutting down production?
Chevron down icon
Yes, in most cases. We plan retrofits in phases around your production schedule. A well-planned retrofit can extend equipment life by 10 or more years and often reaches ROI within 12 to 24 months.
